Mills on the Air 2023

Following on from the event the Club has been thanked by the Comb Mill Steam museum and have been asked if we could attend other steaming events, especially if we could attend the forthcoming military history event with some ex military equipment. We have also been asked if we could provide a working crystal set for the children's activity area. We have been invited back for next Year's Mills on the Air event. Ron G8DCX.

Mills on the Air B.A.R.S will be activating Coomb Mill Steam museum (near Blenheim Palace Oxfordshire). Dates 13th and 14th of May. Watch this space for further news.

Two Club members have visited the Mill and met the volunteers running the museum. We were made most welcome and the museum is very interesting, being both a water mill and steam driven one. It is a working mill open on specific Sundays for steam operation. Many exhibits and old working skills on display and demonstrated. Wednesdays are volunteers days. The Cafe is open on those days and on Steaming Suindays.
